Beverly Hills Christmas Lighting

Every year, the weekend before Thanksgiving, Beverly Hills has a ceremony to light their Christmas decorations. For all it's flaws, Beverly Hills does Christmas right. They do a nice job of decorating the town and getting into the spirit of the season.

The lighting takes place on Rodeo Drive, just north of the Beverly Wilshire hotel. They have musical guests and usually a celebrity guest or two to MC the event. The whole thing ends with the lighting and a fireworks display synchronized to music.

The program this year was pretty weak compared to years past, but the fireworks were good. It was still a fun night, and a nice preamble to the holidays.
